One of the things we do is build websites and take pictures... We
decided one day it would be a good idea to create a quality WebCam of Ben
Nevis for all to see. It is extremely convenient that the camera is housed
in the roof at Woodside, thus enabling you to see for yourself, what the
view looks like on any particular day.
A few points to make though...
The camera time is GMT and so you may not see daylight pictures if you
live in different time zones around the world. The camera operates during
daylight hours only.
The camera uploads images every 5 minutes or so, and the camera changes
its view at the same time. The quality of the image depends on the weather
and the time of day. In the winter it's particularly useful for judging
the amount of snow on the mountains.
