Woodside B & B terms & Conditions
TO MAKE A BOOKING
To secure a room, or rooms at Woodside please post a cheque for 50% of
the cost, payable to Mrs Randi McKenna. We prefer guests to pay the balance
in cash, Pounds Sterling on departure. Credit cards are accepted with
a £3.00 charge per transaction. We require your full name, home
address and telephone number to complete a booking.
Advance Bookings
We receive many requests for accommodation from all around the
world and respectfully remind guests that a confirmed reservation and
request
for accommodation constitutes a contract between themselves and Woodside
Bed & Breakfast, Fort William.
Once your reservation has been confirmed by Woodside Bed and Breakfast
your room(s) will not be sold to anyone else, regardless of how many
additional requests we receive. If you choose to shorten your stay for
whatever reason, you will be charged at the higher room rate for nights
stayed plus 50% of the rate for the remaining nights you booked the room.
Deposits and Payment
Any confirmed bookings cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date will
be charged for in full, unless we can relet the accommodation to another
guest. Your deposit cheque/check and credit card details which you
have provided, will be used to pay for the cost of the rooms(s).
Overseas Guests
You can secure a booking by email if you provide your credit card details
(in two separate emails if you are concerned about security). We require
you to instruct us by email, to charge your credit card for a deposit
and to state that you understand you will be charged if through cancellation,
we are unable to re-sell the accommodation. We will require your full
name, postal address and home telephone number.
A UKP 3.00 charge is
made on all credit card transactions.
Cancellation Insurance
Whilst we appreciate advance bookings and reservations from guests, we
recognise that circumstances can change and do cause people to change
their plans. We therefore strongly recommend you take out travel/vacation/cancellation
insurance.
We hate to be so formal, but we have been let down by people who were
less than fair to us. If you have any questions regarding these details
you are most welcome to email us. We may at our discretion charge a cancellation fee to cover administration and bank charges.
SMOKERS
We are unable to accommodate heavy smokers or anyone who does not understand what NO SMOKING means. Considerate people can smoke outside in our yard, away from the house.
Considerate behaviour
You will be a guest in our family home. We also have other guests to consider, so we respectfully ask everyone to be thoughtful and considerate at all times.
