Many people stay at Woodside when they visit Fort William to
climb or walk up Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. Woodside
is only 2 miles from the mountain car park in Leanachan Forest, and 3
miles from Achintee or the Glen Nevis Visitor Centre, where many people
start their walk.
